Description
The City of Riverton is seeking a qualified rodeo contractor to supply all livestock, personnel, equipment, and related services for its Rodeo Days event scheduled for June 24‑26 2027. The contractor must provide bucking stock (horses, bulls, calves, etc.), rodeo staff (bullfighters, judges, announcers, etc.), timing and chute equipment, and maintain required insurance, with all goods and services sourced within Utah. The city will provide EMTs, venue, sound system, water troughs, feed, and advertising. The contract is a one‑year base term with up to four optional one‑year renewals. Evaluation will be based 40% on price, 40% on experience, and 20% on proposed approach.
• Supply and manage full rodeo livestock (horses, bulls, calves, steer‑wrestling cattle).
• Provide rodeo personnel (pick‑up men, bullfighters, judges, announcer, timers, etc.) and equipment (electronic timing, chute assistance).
• Must carry required liability, workers’ comp, and auto insurance and demonstrate Utah‑based production.
