Go North KC Sportsfest 2027

The County of Clay (MO) is seeking a qualified event‑production firm to plan, produce, and manage the “Go North KC Sportsfest 2027,” a free, family‑friendly two‑day sports festival scheduled for July 9‑10 2027 in Liberty, MO. The contractor will be responsible for full‑service event management, including project leadership, creative concept, site planning, vendor coordination, staffing, safety and accessibility planning, sponsorship acquisition, marketing, on‑site execution, and post‑event reporting. The contract runs for one year from award (with four optional one‑year renewals) and includes milestone‑based payments tied to planning, program development, production readiness, and final close‑out. • Develop event concept, branding, and guest experience aligned with Go North KC objectives. • Produce detailed site layout, permits, safety, emergency, and accessibility plans. • Recruit, manage, and coordinate production vendors, sports providers, exhibitors, and volunteers. • Create and execute sponsorship and vendor‑booth revenue strategy. • Deliver marketing, audience‑development, and media outreach plan. • Provide on‑site leadership for load‑in, event execution, teardown, and post‑event financial reconciliation. • Submit milestone deliverables (kick‑off plan, concept, sponsor packages, safety plans, final run‑of‑show, post‑event report) according to the schedule outlined in the RFP.
