Senior Major Projects Advisor for the Cambie Bridge Phase 3 Project

The City of Vancouver is seeking an experienced senior‑level consultant to act as a Major Projects Advisor for the Cambie Bridge Phase 3 seismic upgrade. The advisor will provide strategic, executive‑level advice, risk and schedule foresight, and procurement strategy input to the project’s Executive Steering Committee and Directors Coordination Group over a six‑year base term (with up to four one‑year extensions). The role is part‑time/intermittent (≈208 hours per year) and does not involve detailed design or construction management. • Provide independent strategic advice on risk, cost, schedule, and commercial matters for a $‑plus‑300 M public infrastructure project. • Attend and brief the Executive Steering Committee and Directors Coordination Group, preparing concise issue‑briefing notes and strategic recommendations. • Deliver a 1–2 page narrative of experience, insurance certificates, and supplier‑code compliance as part of the expression of interest.
