Residential Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within HHS seeks qualified providers to deliver 24/7 residential services for Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC). Providers must be state‑licensed (or meet equivalent licensing requirements) to operate group homes, shelters, or transitional foster‑care settings and must be able to accept children at any time when safe and permissible. The focus is on facilities located near the U.S. southern border, offering residential beds and transitional foster care. Up to 50 awards are anticipated, with individual award amounts ranging from $2 M to $5.6 M, for a total estimated funding pool of $280 M.
