Description
The City of Commerce, GA is seeking qualified professional service firms to provide comprehensive plan‑review and building‑inspection services for residential and commercial construction projects throughout the city. The contract will be a one‑year base period with the option to renew annually for up to three additional years. Proposals must be submitted sealed by December 1, 2026, and must include all required certifications, insurance, and a not‑to‑exceed price. The scope includes plan‑review tracking, code compliance verification, defect identification, comment entry into permitting software, on‑site inspections, and coordination with city staff and applicants. A performance bond equal to 100 % of the contract amount and a 5 % bid bond are required. The City will evaluate proposals on completeness, understanding of the work, past performance, and cost.
