Description
The Seattle Convention Center is seeking a qualified private‑security firm to provide both armed, uniformed public‑safety officers (law‑enforcement and traffic‑control duties) and unarmed security personnel for events held at the convention center. The contractor must be licensed in Washington, able to staff 24 × 7 with a one‑hour response window, and meet strict qualifications for armed officers (active or retired peace officers certified by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission). The contract is a firm‑price, indefinite‑delivery agreement with a base term of four years (Jan 1 2027 – Dec 31 2030) and up to six optional one‑year extensions. Compensation will be on an hourly‑rate basis, with invoicing required within 48 hours after each event and payment within 30 days.
