Post-Event Custodial Services for Intercollegiate Athletics

The Louisiana Tech University Office of Purchasing is seeking sealed bids for post-event custodial services for intercollegiate athletics facilities, including the Thomas Assembly Center, the Davison Athletic Complex, and the Joe Aillet Stadium Press Box and Suites. The awarded vendor will be required to provide complete, post-event custodial services, including labor, equipment, materials, and supplies. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The vendor must have a minimum of three large commercial accounts within the State of Louisiana and/or within 350 miles of Ruston, Louisiana, and must have operated a custodial services business for at least five consecutive years. • The vendor must provide a supervisor for personnel and ensure that all employees are properly trained in the latest custodial services, practices, and techniques. • The vendor must respond to emergency calls within two hours and provide a list of all chemicals and materials used to perform custodial services on campus. • The vendor must adhere to the University's tobacco use policy and provide a complete copy of their insurance certificate indicating proof of coverage. • The vendor must not subcontract any portion of the contract and must provide a statement acknowledging that no work will be subcontracted.
