Architectural Design Services, Del Norte Park & Dog Park Improvements

The City of West Covina is seeking an architectural/engineering firm to provide full design‑build services for the Del Norte Park and Dog Park Improvements project, including a new police K‑9 training facility, a perpetual K‑9 memorial, fence upgrades, amenities, demolition of an existing snack bar, and utility relocations. The consultant will develop conceptual alternatives, complete plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and support the bidding and construction phases, delivering as‑built drawings after completion. • Design scope covers project management, site surveys, CEQA categorical exemption documentation, three conceptual alternatives, and detailed PS&E at 60 %, 90 % and 100 % stages. • Contractor will assist during advertising, respond to RFIs, attend up to nine construction‑site meetings, and provide record‑drawings within 20 days of project close‑out. • Contract term is one year (with a possible one‑year extension); design must be bid‑ready for an estimated construction budget of approximately $800,000.
