The City of Hyattsville is seeking a qualified executive‑search consulting firm to conduct a full‑service recruitment process for the City Administrator position. The consultant will work with the City Council, HR Director, and City Clerk to develop candidate profiles, design outreach and marketing plans, screen and interview candidates, conduct background checks, and advise on negotiations, while providing weekly status updates and maintaining strict confidentiality. The contract will be a not‑to‑exceed fee‑based agreement, with the firm required to begin work within 10 days of notice to proceed and to keep the price valid for 120 days. • Develop candidate profile and salary/benefit range • Design and execute a diverse outreach and marketing campaign • Manage receipt, screening, interviewing, and reference checks of candidates • Provide written reports, demographic data, and interview strategy guidance • Coordinate schedules, travel, and teleconferencing for the Council • Maintain confidentiality and comply with ADA and data‑security requirements • Offer a guarantee to repeat or replace a hire who leaves within two years at no additional fee.
