Workforce Development Board Communications Strategy Development Consulting Services

The City of Los Angeles is seeking proposals from qualified consulting teams to develop and implement a comprehensive communications, education, and branding strategy for the City's Workforce Development Board (WDB). The goal is to elevate visibility and public engagement of the WDB, attract job seekers and employers, and increase participation in full WDB committee meetings. The selected contractor will be responsible for developing a refreshed branding kit, redesigning the WDB's website, relaunching and managing social media, and launching a digital newsletter. The contractor will also design and execute an outreach and advertising campaign to promote the services of the WorkSource and YouthSource Centers. Key aspects of the project include: • Developing a comprehensive communications strategy to inform employers, businesses, job seekers, and community stakeholders about workforce services and initiatives • Creating a modern, inclusive, and accessible visual identity for the WDB • Redesigning the WDB's website to be user-friendly and improve accessibility • Relaunching and managing social media to boost public engagement and build a community of engaged workforce advocates • Launching a bi-monthly digital newsletter to elevate the visibility of the workforce system and keep stakeholders informed • Designing and executing an outreach and advertising campaign to increase awareness of and promote the services of the WorkSource and YouthSource Centers
