Executive Director for SD Social Work Examiners Board

The State of South Dakota Department of Social Services is seeking an entity to serve as Executive Director for the Board of Social Work Examiners, providing comprehensive administrative consulting and service delivery for licensure, disciplinary, and regulatory functions. The contractor will act as the Board’s operational hub, handling licensing processes, compliance enforcement, fiscal management, technology enhancements, and stakeholder liaison duties. This is a one‑year contract with optional one‑year extensions, payable on a monthly invoicing schedule, and requires the contractor to maintain specific insurance coverage, certify non‑debarment, and comply with state procurement policies. • Provide full administrative management of the Social Work Examiners Board (licensing, investigations, hearings, disciplinary actions). • Maintain and improve online licensing systems, website transparency, and a toll‑free support line with relay services. • Deliver financial oversight, budgeting, reporting, and procurement support, plus develop continuity‑of‑operations plans and technology upgrades.
