Electronics, Kitchen Countertop Appliance, and Small Electric Items Recycling / Refurbishing

Ramsey County’s Environmental Health Department is seeking qualified contractors to securely recycle or refurbish electronics, kitchen countertop appliances, and small electric items that residents drop off at the County’s Environmental Center. The contractor will be responsible for handling, sorting, processing, and either refurbishing for resale/reuse or environmentally‑safe disposal of a variety of household electronic waste. This work supports county waste‑diversion goals and must comply with all applicable environmental regulations. • Secure collection, transportation, and processing of resident‑dropped electronics and small appliances. • Refurbishment services for items that can be repaired or repurposed. • Certified recycling and disposal of non‑refurbishable equipment in accordance with state and local guidelines. • Detailed reporting on volumes recycled, refurbished, and disposed, plus documentation for compliance audits. • Coordination with Ramsey County’s Environmental Center staff for drop‑off schedules and site logistics.
