This solicitation establishes a non‑exclusive, open‑work‑order contract for moisture and mold remediation services throughout the Port of Miami. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision needed to remediate water‑damage incidents as dictated by the Port’s microbial and moisture assessment consultant reports. Pricing is unit‑based; work orders are issued as needs arise, with a maximum contract ceiling of $481,000. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who holds a valid Florida/Miami‑Dade moisture remediation license and can meet a two‑hour emergency response requirement.
• Perform water‑damage extraction, mildewcide application, deodorization, drying, HEPA vacuuming and antimicrobial treatments on walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Respond to emergency calls within two hours and be prepared for night‑time work to minimize port disruptions.
• Maintain required insurance (minimum $1 M per policy) and provide performance, payment and bid bonds; all work must comply with applicable codes and the consultant’s protocols.
