C1DA--589-26-144, Prepare Site for High Cost Medical Equipment RFIR

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Architectural and Engineering (A/E) services to develop comprehensive, stand-alone Construction Documents, Reports, and Specifications for Project 589-26-144: Prepare Site for High Cost Medical Equipment RFIR. This project aims to prepare the site for two interventional imaging systems and control rooms for this equipment. The selected A/E firm will be required to perform construction services if a construction project contract is awarded. The firm must be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must comply with the limitations on subcontracting specified in the contract. Key aspects of the project include: • Preparation of the site for high-cost medical equipment • Development of comprehensive construction documents and reports • Compliance with VA regulations and requirements • Ability to perform construction services if awarded a construction contract • Experience in designing similar types of facilities, particularly in health care • Technical competence in areas such as energy conservation and waste reduction
