The Biomanufacturing Education & Skills Training (BEST) Center at Wilson Community College is expanding its simulated cleanroom facility and seeks a vendor to design, fabricate, install, and commission a custom biopharmaceutical automated fill‑machine isolator for training purposes. The contract covers full project lifecycle: concept design, detailed engineering, fabrication, factory acceptance testing, shipping, on‑site installation, startup, functional testing, operator and maintenance training, and delivery of complete documentation and warranties. The solution must prioritize educational value, aseptic technique training, and compliance with cleanroom standards rather than high‑throughput production.
• Scope includes mechanical design, electrical and control system integration, and software programming for a low‑throughput fill machine housed in an isolator.
• Required deliverables: design drawings, fabrication, FAT, shipping, on‑site installation (not before Aug 11 2027), commissioning, acceptance testing, training sessions, operation manuals, O&M manuals, spare‑parts list, calibration certificates, and warranty documentation.
• Project must be completed within 1 year of contract award; vendor must begin work within 10 business days of the effective date.
• Vendor must be a North Carolina‑registered vendor in good standing and provide evidence of financial stability, relevant experience, and references.
• All proposals submitted electronically via the NC eProcurement Ariba Network by 2:00 PM ET on 10 Nov 2026.
• Evaluation will consider technical approach, past performance, price, and compliance with specifications.
