Description
The State of California is seeking a qualified contractor to provide heavy‑lift helicopter services—including aircraft, pilots, fuel, maintenance, and all required ground support—for the aerial transport of large woody debris (up to 500 whole trees or logs) within Humboldt Redwoods State Park at Panther Gap. The contractor must supply a suitable helicopter, certified crew, safety equipment, and coordinate closely with DPR staff throughout the performance period.
• Deliver one heavy‑lift helicopter with pilots, fuel, and maintenance support for up to 80 flight hours and 80 standby hours.
• Conduct aerial moves of whole trees/logs from staging sites to placement sites, providing ground crew, spill kits, fire‑prevention equipment, and environmental safeguards.
• Supply all required documentation (pilot licences, aircraft maintenance records, insurance, DVBE/SB certifications, AI disclosure, etc.) and comply with state procurement, safety, and reporting requirements.
