The Department of the Interior is seeking a qualified small‑business to provide exclusive‑use, Type III helicopter flight services for natural‑resource missions in the Everglades National Park and other South Florida parks and preserves. The contractor must operate a primary light turbine‑engine helicopter (minimum four insured passenger seats, 725 lb payload) and an on‑call secondary helicopter, furnish qualified pilots, mechanics, and a fuel‑servicing vehicle, and comply with extensive FAA, safety‑management‑system, and reporting requirements. The five‑year contract (May 1 2027 – April 30 2032) has a ceiling of $4 million, with a guaranteed minimum of 230 flight‑hours in the base year and 175 hours each subsequent year, plus up to $10 k per year for additional pay items.
