The Department of Consumer Affairs – Medical Board of California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive transcription services for medical‑related recordings and to operate a 24 × 7 toll‑free dictation line. The contractor must deliver verbatim transcripts of interviews, expert dictations, and Board meeting minutes within strict turnaround times, maintain secure encrypted transmission of all data, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with California privacy statutes. The contract runs for three years beginning Jan 1 2027, with the possibility of extensions if approvals are delayed.
• Provide verbatim transcription of ~300 interview recordings, 150 expert dictations, and 12 Board meeting minutes annually.
• Operate and maintain a 24/7 toll‑free dictation service with secure authentication and data handling.
• Meet delivery timelines (initial draft within 7 business days, final within 3 business days after corrections) and adhere to all confidentiality, insurance, and data‑security requirements.
