Event Equipment Rental

The City of Norwalk’s Recreation & Park Services Department is seeking a vendor to supply and install a full‑scale event‑equipment package for the 2026 Memorial Day Ceremony. The scope includes a 98 × 65 ft white A‑frame tent with sliding side walls, brick/cement anchoring weights, patriotic drapery, swag strips, bunting, pagoda canopies, a podium, and a safety package (exit signs, no‑smoking signs, fire extinguishers) together with all necessary hardware and labor for installation on 24 May and de‑installation on 25 May. Vendors must provide required insurance, COI, additional insured endorsement, hold‑harmless form, and a completed W‑9, and submit their bid electronically via the PlanetBids portal. • Provide a complete tent system and ancillary décor items tailored for a 350‑400‑person ceremony. • Install the tent and accessories on 24 May (6 a.m.–6 p.m.) and remove them on 25 May (2 p.m.–8 p.m.). • Meet City insurance requirements (CGL $1 M/$2 M, auto $1 M, workers’ comp, professional liability) and submit required forms by 8 May.
