MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE SHABOO STAGE, JILLSON SQUARE AND JILLSON EVENTS

The Town of Windham seeks a qualified organization or firm to manage and operate three municipal venues – the Shaboo Stage, Jillson Square, and the Jillson Event Space – located in Willimantic, Connecticut. The objective is to create a professional venue‑management arrangement that boosts utilization, expands cultural and community programming, improves event coordination, generates sponsorship and revenue opportunities, and eases the town’s administrative burden. The contractor will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, booking, marketing, facility maintenance oversight, financial reporting, and community outreach. • Manage scheduling, rentals, and event coordination for all three venues • Develop and implement marketing and sponsorship strategies to increase revenue • Oversee facility upkeep, security, and compliance with local regulations • Provide financial management, reporting, and budgeting for venue operations • Engage with community groups, artists, and entertainment providers to expand programming • Deliver regular performance metrics and recommendations to the Town Manager’s Office
