The City of Santa Monica Fire Department is soliciting a qualified vendor to remove, clean, and properly dispose of Class B Aqueous Film‑Forming Foam (AFFF) from twelve fire apparatus (nine Type 1 engines, one larger engine, one Aircraft Rescue Crash unit, and one Aircraft Rescue Utility unit). The work includes hazardous‑waste handling, multiple EPA‑approved flushing cycles, secondary containment, transportation to an off‑site hazardous‑waste facility, and delivery of detailed laboratory analysis and compliance reporting. The contract will be awarded to the best value bidder based on price, experience, technical capability, and financial capacity. Bids are submitted electronically; no in‑person job walk is provided.
