The City of Columbus Division of Water is seeking a qualified contractor to completely rebuild a 1000‑HP, #12 high‑service pump motor (serial #267622). The work includes logistics, comprehensive electrical testing, thorough mechanical inspection, cleaning, repair, bearing replacement, rotor balancing, re‑assembly, painting, and full documentation of all test data and inspections. The contract is for one unit, with delivery expected by 11/13/2026.
• Disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of motor components, including high‑pot, polarization index, and resistance testing.
• Replacement of bearings, verification of thermal overload sensors, rotor balancing to ≤0.5 mil, and repainting to match existing color.
• Transportation of the motor to/from the repair facility, on‑site one‑day inspection window for City representatives, and provision of complete test and inspection reports.
