Holomua Publication Design & Printing Services, Multi-year Term

The Employees' Retirement System of the State of Hawaii is seeking a qualified vendor to provide publication design and printing services for its quarterly newsletter, Holomua, for a multi-year term. The contract will be for a base term of three years, with optional extensions for two additional one-year terms. The selected vendor will be responsible for designing, editing, and printing the newsletter, as well as distributing it to approximately 68,000 recipients per quarter. The vendor must have experience in editing and publishing similar types of work and must have an office presence in Hawaii to facilitate coordination with the ERS. Key responsibilities include: • Developing the quarterly Holomua newsletter, including design, editing, and printing • Providing a pre-production electronic copy in PDF format to the ERS for verification prior to printing • Ensuring compliance with the Hawaii Electronic Information Technology Disability Access Standards • Distributing the newsletter to the ERS's mailing list, using the ERS's bulk mailing permit for domestic mailings and reimbursing the ERS for international postage costs • Having an office presence in Hawaii to facilitate coordination with the ERS.
