On-Call - Structural Engineering

The University of Connecticut is establishing an on‑call professional services pool for structural engineering. Qualified firms will submit a Statement of Qualifications (SQ) demonstrating experience, QA/QC plans, licensing, and compliance with Connecticut ethics and training requirements. Once selected, the firm will be awarded an indefinite‑delivery, on‑call contract (May 2027 – Oct 2030) with individual assignments limited to $1 million each. The contract includes all phases from design through construction administration, with hourly rates to be fixed for the contract term. • Scope covers new construction, renovations, forensic analysis, construction administration, inspections, and special‑inspection services. • Vendors must provide a CT professional engineering license, a QA/QC plan, and complete required forms (experience, team resumes, narrative, hourly‑rate form). • No guaranteed volume; assignments are issued via purchase orders after a 5‑business‑day response window.
