Description
The University of South Carolina seeks a qualified vendor to provide end‑to‑end publication services for the National Resource Center for the First‑Year Experience and Students in Transition (NRC). The contract will cover production, printing, warehousing, distribution, direct‑to‑consumer sales, account management, and subscription management of scholarly practice books, research reports, and research guides, as well as management of the Journal of The First‑Year Experience and Students in Transition. The initial term is two years with three one‑year renewal options, for a maximum of five years, beginning March 1 2027. Submissions are due 11/16/2026; a non‑mandatory virtual pre‑proposal conference is scheduled for 10/30/2026. The award will be posted 12/03/2026.
• Services include offset printing of books and guides, binding, packaging, and inventory warehousing.
• Distribution responsibilities cover both institutional and direct‑to‑consumer channels, including subscription sales.
• Vendor must provide account management, digital accessibility compliance (VPAT), and, if SaaS, SOC 2 audit and PCI‑DSS compliance for payment processing.
• Required certifications: security questionnaires, accessibility statements, and possibly ISO 27001 or SOC 2 reports.
• Contract value expected in the high‑hundreds of thousands to low‑millions over five years.
