CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT VARIOUS MDC LOCATIONS IN THE GREATER HARTFORD AREA

This contract is a solicitation by The Metropolitan District for custodial (janitorial) services at multiple MDC facilities throughout the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area. The agency seeks qualified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, including waste removal, floor care, restroom maintenance, and general upkeep of buildings. The work will be performed on a recurring basis at each location, with the contractor required to comply with MDC’s standards, provide its own labor and equipment, and submit sealed proposals by the stipulated due date. • Scope: Full‑service custodial duties for various MDC sites (e.g., offices, utility buildings). • Eligibility: Open to SBE‑certified companies (Connecticut DAS SBE and/or DOT DBE). • Submission: Sealed proposals delivered to the Office of the District Clerk by 2 PM on December 5, 2024; electronic download of the ITB available via the MDC ProcureWare site.
