Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide storage, maintenance, and rapid deployment of a Federal Coordination Center (FCC) medical cache for the Eastern Colorado Health Care System. The contractor must maintain a climate‑controlled inventory, rotate and condition equipment, deliver and set up the cache for exercises and real‑world activations, provide staffing for deployments, and submit monthly inventory and post‑activation reports. Work is performed primarily at a secure storage site near Denver International Airport and includes optional annual training and exercise support.
• Store and maintain a comprehensive medical cache (including PPE, airway kits, IV supplies, etc.) in a climate‑controlled, secure facility within 25 mi of Denver Airport.
• Provide rapid deployment capability: mobilize within 72 hours of activation notice, deliver, set up and break down the cache within 2 hours, and staff each event with a minimum of six qualified personnel.
• Participate in annual training, tabletop exercises, and monthly reporting; ensure compliance with VA and federal regulations, including SDVOSB certification and subcontracting limits.
