Description
Emanuel County Schools (ECS) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to supply, deliver, assemble, and install a complete set of classroom furniture for Twin City Elementary School. The scope includes 550 student chairs (various seat heights) and 550 student desks, along with all labor, freight, unloading, assembly, placement, and removal of packaging. No brand is mandated; vendors may propose any manufacturer that meets the detailed specifications. Proposals must include product documentation, warranties, a delivery/installation plan, and evidence of experience and insurance. The contract will be awarded to the vendor offering the best overall value based on price, quality, warranty, schedule, and experience.
• Provide 40 four‑leg student chairs (14‑in seat height), 255 chairs (16‑in), 255 chairs (18‑in) – total 550 chairs.
• Provide 550 open‑front student desks with 18 × 24 in solid‑plastic tops (optional laminate alternate).
• All furniture must be commercial‑grade, steel‑frame, chrome or corrosion‑resistant finish, with non‑marking felt glides and neutral color options.
• Delivery, assembly, placement, and removal of all packaging must be completed by April 9 2027.
• Vendor must submit three references, proof of liability and workers’ compensation coverage, and a one‑year warranty (manufacturer warranty may be longer).
• Proposals due November 4 2026, 2:00 PM ET; questions due October 28 2026.
• Evaluation criteria: price (40 %), product quality (30 %), warranty/service (15 %), schedule (10 %), experience (5 %).
