Description
The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its Metrology Laboratory in Giddings, Texas. The contract covers routine weekly cleaning tasks, periodic monthly deep‑cleaning duties, and the provision of labor, cleaning supplies, and equipment (excluding paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, and trash liners, which TDA supplies). Work must be performed outside of normal laboratory business hours to avoid disruption. The initial contract runs from the effective date through August 31 2027 with up to three one‑year renewal options. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bid with a $50,000 ceiling.
• Weekly tasks: vacuum, sweep, mop, trash removal, surface dusting, restroom sanitizing, kitchen cleaning, replenishing paper towel dispensers.
• Monthly/as‑needed tasks: interior window cleaning, light‑fixture dusting (excluding lobby fixtures).
• No cleaning of employee desktops or equipment; no work during 7:30 am‑5:00 pm (Mon‑Thu) or 7:30 am‑4:30 pm (Fri).
• Contractor supplies all labor, cleaning chemicals, tools (brooms, mops, buckets provided).
• Service logs required after each shift.
