RFP # SOL1369, Engineering Design Services for Cove/Peters Creek Pedestrian Improvements

The City of Roanoke is seeking professional engineering design services to develop detailed plans for the Cove/Peters Creek Pedestrian Improvement project. The scope includes design of a new traffic signal, overhead street lighting, utility relocation, drainage improvements, and the reconstruction of curb, gutter, and sidewalk at the intersection of Cove Road and Peters Creek. This contract is for the design phase only; construction will be contracted separately. • Design of traffic signal timing and geometry • Lighting layout and fixture specifications • Coordination of utility relocations and storm‑water drainage upgrades • Complete curb, gutter, and sidewalk design to meet ADA standards • Deliver construction‑ready drawings and specifications for municipal approval
