Description
The Port of Brookings Harbor is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to design and manage the Boat Yard Stormwater Improvements Project, which includes heavy‑duty resurfacing, storm‑water treatment upgrades, electrical and lighting upgrades, and demolition/reconstruction of an 85‑ton travel‑lift system. The work will be performed under a qualifications‑based selection process, with no cost proposal required at the initial stage. The successful firm must demonstrate extensive experience in marine/port infrastructure, heavy‑industrial facilities, and travel‑lift projects, and be capable of navigating multiple regulatory approvals (county, state, federal).
• Scope covers civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and storm‑water design, permitting support, and optional construction‑phase services.
• Evaluation based on relevant experience (55 pts), team qualifications (20 pts), project approach (15 pts), schedule (10 pts), and interview (if conducted).
• Award timeline: proposals due 2 Dec 2026, intent to award 9 Dec 2026, final contract execution by 20 Jan 2027.
