Client Payment Card Program

The State of Nevada, Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide payment card program services. The implementation of a payment card program will enable DETR to directly purchase pre-approved goods and services from vendors, either in-person or online, independently, and confidentially. The program aims to streamline the delivery of funds to clients, reduce delays in employment services, and allow clients to acquire important budgeting skills. The contract term is expected to be four years, subject to Board of Examiners' approval. Key aspects of the project include: • Enabling clients to directly purchase pre-approved goods or services from vendors • Expediting the client's receipt of funds to eliminate delays in employment services delivery • Streamlining DETR processes to redirect valuable department resources • Supporting vendors in providing employment support goods and services • Reducing stale claims for DETR • Providing a payment card program that meets the functional and non-functional requirements • Ensuring the security and confidentiality of client information • Complying with Nevada law and state indemnity requirements • Maintaining insurance coverages as set forth in the fully executed contract
