Executive Architect - CHS Fire Sprinkler Retrofit - School of Medicine East 5th and 6th Floors

UCLA Facilities Management is soliciting an Executive Architect to design and coordinate a fire‑sprinkler retrofit in the public corridors of the 5th and 6th floors of the Center for Health Sciences, School of Medicine East building. The scope includes removal of existing ceilings, installation of new acoustical ceilings, integration of fire‑sprinkler main lines with connection points every 20 feet, addition of recessed LED lighting and mechanical diffusers, and extension of all ceiling devices to the new ceiling plane. The retrofit covers roughly 10,666 GSF and is budgeted at $3‑4 million, with potential phasing based on funding availability.
