Commercial Custodial Services

The City of Tucson is seeking proposals from qualified offerors for Custodial and Floor Maintenance Services at various locations on an as needed, if needed basis. The City's intent is to develop a Qualified Vendor List for Commercial Custodial Services. The contract will be utilized by various City departments, including the Department of Transportation and Mobility, Housing and Community Development, Environmental Services Department, General Services Department, and Parks and Recreation Department. Some facilities may be LEED Certified and would need to be maintained in accordance with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Standards. The scope of work includes general custodial services, specialized custodial services relating to floor care, and other related services. Key responsibilities include providing all necessary supplies, labor, vehicles, equipment, and materials to perform the required services, ensuring compliance with City specifications and regulations, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. • The Contractor shall provide a detailed breakdown of each custodian's work schedule to the Contract Representative. • The Contractor shall assign work to employees who are fully trained and qualified to perform work. • The Contractor shall utilize only individuals to work on this contract who have successfully completed a background investigation conducted by the Tucson Police Department. • The Contractor shall provide plastic liners in all wastebaskets and waste receptacles. • The Contractor shall transfer all recyclables from the building to the large recyclable's bins located onsite.
