Description
The City of Winder, GA seeks a qualified Spanish court interpreter to provide on‑site interpreting for municipal court proceedings each Friday (8 am‑12 pm) over a five‑year period, with the possibility of renewal. The interpreter must hold a current Georgia Certified Court Interpreter designation, possess a valid GA Class “C” driver’s license, carry required insurance, and be able to perform simultaneous translation at ≥200 wpm, including legal terminology and slang. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling and paying any substitute interpreters, maintaining background‑check compliance, and submitting detailed monthly invoicing.
