Description
The City of Winder, GA is seeking a qualified attorney to serve as City Prosecutor for the Municipal Court. The Solicitor will prosecute misdemeanor criminal cases, perform limited civil administrative duties, and submit monthly reports. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to four optional one‑year renewals. Compensation is $450 per court day (typically Friday mornings, 8 am–12 pm) with additional time negotiated. Applicants must hold a JD, be licensed in Georgia, be a member of the State Bar, and have at least three years of practice. The role requires courtroom procedure knowledge, criminal law expertise, and strong communication skills. Submissions (paper or in‑person) are due by October 26, 2026.
