Bookstore Services FY27-FY32

Metropolitan State University is seeking a qualified vendor to operate its on‑site campus bookstore and associated online textbook services for fiscal years 2027‑2032. The contract includes full‑service retail operations, textbook adoption support, digital textbook and course‑material delivery, integration with university systems (e.g., learning management, bookstore credit), and compliance with PCI‑DSS and university policies. The vendor must maintain the “Metropolitan State University Bookstore” brand, operate year‑round, provide staffing, manage inventory, support faculty adoption processes, and deliver reporting and data integration as detailed in the RFP. The award will result in a five‑year agreement with an optional five‑year extension, beginning July 1 2026. • Operate both physical and online bookstore, handling new/used books, rentals, e‑books, and course‑material services. • Provide technology integration (API, SFTP, ODBC) for sales data, voucher programs, and LMS (D2L) connectivity. • Meet affordability goals through pricing strategies, inclusive access, and buy‑back programs, while adhering to security, PCI‑DSS, and university policies.
