Description
Knox County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide rental of a range of small‑ and light‑equipment items (e.g., compact track loaders, compact excavators, augers, rotary cutters, etc.) to its various departments on a best‑value basis. The contractor must supply equipment, handle all maintenance, insurance, and delivery/pick‑up logistics, and be able to meet demand across the county throughout the contract year. The solicitation includes separate line‑items for daily and weekly rental rates as well as a delivery/pick‑up charge for each equipment type. The award will be a one‑year contract with the possibility of up to four additional one‑year extensions, and the County will pay via purchase orders or a VISA credit card.
• Provide daily, weekly, and delivery/pick‑up pricing for each listed equipment category.
• Maintain equipment in ready‑to‑use condition, insure it, and provide training to County personnel.
• No minimum purchase quantity; the County will call for rentals as needed throughout the contract period.
