Fire Flow Testing Services

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform fire flow testing across its water distribution system. The contractor will plan, coordinate, and execute hydraulic performance tests at designated locations, measuring static pressure, residual pressure, and flow rates. Collected data must be validated, documented, and reported in accordance with WSSC standards, ensuring minimal disruption to customers and traffic while maintaining system integrity. The effort supports engineering analyses, system performance verification, future infrastructure planning, and provides fire flow information to internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct on‑site fire flow tests at multiple WSSC water system locations. • Measure and record static pressure, residual pressure, and flow rates. • Validate data quality and ensure compliance with WSSC safety and technical standards. • Prepare comprehensive test reports and submit via the WSSC supplier portal. • Maintain system integrity and minimize customer/traffic impact during testing. • All bids must be submitted electronically through the WSSC supplier portal by the deadline.
