The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking market research on firms capable of rewinding three hydroelectric generators at the Eufaula Powerhouse (Canadian River, Oklahoma). The contractor must design, manufacture, test, ship, install, and commission new stator windings, replace stator cores for one unit, perform extensive testing (voltage‑endurance, thermal cycling, efficiency, alignment, and start‑up), and integrate machine condition monitoring equipment. The work includes full disassembly, refurbishment of bearings, rotor and field work, and provision of spare parts, all performed on‑site.
• Complete redesign, prototype, and production of three 31,579 kVA stator coil sets.
• Perform core replacement, thermal‑cycle testing, and full commissioning of all units.
• Install and calibrate machine condition monitoring sensors and data acquisition hardware.
• Deliver all labor, material, equipment, shipping, and testing services on‑site at the Eufaula Powerhouse.
