Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a qualified contractor to rewind, refurbish, test, and deliver three large‑size AC induction motors that drive adult‑fish pumps at Lower Granite Dam, Washington. The work includes motor rewinding for three pumps, asbestos‑abatement and shop‑repair hours on a time‑and‑materials basis, provision of operation & maintenance manuals, and on‑site commissioning support. All work must be performed in accordance with FAR and USACE clauses, with strict delivery windows for each motor and associated documentation.
• Rewind three motors (two Ideal Electric single‑winding, one Hitachi dual‑winding) – fixed‑price per motor.
• Perform asbestos‑abatement/shop‑repair as needed – T&M with NTE ceilings ($57k, $71k, $61k).
• Deliver O&M manuals and provide on‑site commissioning support during designated December windows.
• All work performed at Lower Granite Dam (DoDAAC 960558) with government‑furnished motors; compliance with safety, environmental, and small‑business set‑aside requirements required.
