RENTAL EQUIPMENT SERVICES (EVENTS)

The County of Cameron is seeking a vendor to provide a full line‑up of event‑related rental equipment—including generators, light towers, heaters, crowd‑control barriers, fencing, tables, chairs, and various tents—along with delivery, set‑up, routine maintenance, and repair services for the 2025‑2026 contract year. The award will be made to the lowest‑and‑best responsive bidder and the contract may be extended up to two additional one‑year renewals. Vendors must meet insurance minimums, provide equipment that is new or less than three years old, and comply with OSHA safety standards. • Equipment families cover 15 categories (generators, light towers, propane heaters, steel/plastic barricades, chain‑link fences, banquet/classroom tables, metal folding chairs, and 10‑20 ft frame‑and‑cable or frame‑and‑anchor tents). • Pricing must be all‑inclusive for 1‑, 2‑ and 3‑day rentals; the County will use internal usage estimates (≈ 25 events per year) to evaluate bids. • No bid security or performance bond is required, but vendors must submit required certifications, insurance certificates, and Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 before award.
