Description
The State of California Department of General Services is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and software‑update services for the Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) at its Sacramento facility. The scope includes preventive maintenance, both foreseeable and unforeseen repairs, emergency response, technical support, parts replacement, and detailed reporting over a three‑year contract term. The contractor must hold a valid California Class C‑20 HVAC license, meet prevailing‑wage and insurance requirements, and be able to comply with small‑business and DVBE participation preferences if applicable.
• Annual preventive maintenance of Metasys BAS, including diagnostics, firmware updates, sensor verification, and training.
• Repair services (foreseeable, unforeseeable, and emergency) with defined hourly rates and a $20,000 parts allowance.
• Up to 40 hours per year of remote technical support and monthly reporting obligations.
• Must provide insurance coverage (CGL, automobile, workers’ comp, E&O) and meet California small‑business/DVBE goals.
