Description
The County of Multnomah is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive Building Automation System (BAS) services across its portfolio of facilities. The work includes evaluation of existing systems, design and installation of new BAS, replacement of outdated equipment, ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance, 24/7 emergency support, training, and regular performance reporting. The contract is a five‑year, time‑and‑materials agreement with a possible five‑year extension, and all work must comply with Oregon prevailing‑wage and background‑check requirements.
• Scope: Site‑by‑site BAS assessments, design/installation, replacement, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, software updates, and training.
• Delivery: Hourly, time‑and‑materials rates with a maximum 2 % CPI‑W annual increase after the first year.
• Requirements: Oregon registration, prevailing‑wage compliance, insurance, possible performance bonds, background checks for personnel, and ability to provide 24/7 emergency response.
• Timeline: Open for bids from 23 Oct 2026; pre‑proposal conference 3 Nov 2026 (optional); final submission 2 Dec 2026.
