Description
Lewis County Schools is seeking a qualified, licensed contractor to provide on‑call painting, drywall repair, and ceiling maintenance services for all district facilities. The work includes interior and exterior painting, drywall patching and finishing, suspended‑ceiling repairs or replacements, and related surface‑preparation tasks. The contract will start on the bid deadline day and run through June 30 2027, with two optional one‑year renewals. The solicitation requires submission of a sealed bid package that includes licensing, insurance, and a completed pricing sheet. The award may be piggybacked by other West Virginia public school districts, offering potential additional work.
• Interior & exterior painting of classrooms, hallways, offices, doors, trim, structural steel, and common areas.
• Drywall patching, taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and water‑damage repair.
• Repair/replacement of suspended ceiling tiles, grid systems, and drywall ceiling assemblies.
• Full responsibility for labor, tools, materials, and supervision on an on‑call basis.
• Mandatory bid documents: WV Contractor’s License, business registration, commercial liability and workers’ compensation insurance, plus pricing sheet.
