The City of Philadelphia’s Department of Prisons is seeking qualified sewing‑machine repair technicians to provide maintenance, repair, and parts services for sewing machines across the PDP campus. The work includes diagnosing issues, disassembling and repairing machines, performing quarterly preventive maintenance, supplying replacement parts at list price, and servicing Consew Blade Saw Machines. Preference will be given to vendors located within the Philadelphia area. The contract is a micro‑purchase (maximum $45 k CPI‑adjusted) with a one‑year term (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027).
• Service scope: mechanical diagnosis, repair, re‑assembly, quarterly preventive maintenance, and parts supply.
• Geographic requirement: vendor must be within a 30‑minute travel radius of the PDP campus; travel time/tolls are not reimbursed.
• Financial ceiling: $45,000 (CPI‑adjusted) per micro‑purchase; quote must be valid for 60 days.
