Description
State of New Mexico is seeking bids for a price‑agreement to purchase a new‑production, self‑propelled highway sweeper and a suite of optional accessories for use by the Department of Transportation and other state or local agencies. The contract will be a one‑year agreement, renewable for up to three additional one‑year periods, with the award based on the lowest responsible bid. The vendor must be an authorized New Mexico dealer with parts and service capability in‑state, provide extensive warranties, training, manuals, and accessories at no extra cost, and meet delivery, after‑sale service, and penalty provisions.
• New‑production self‑propelled sweeper meeting detailed technical specs (engine, hydrostatic drive, brush, water‑spray, cab, safety, etc.).
• Required accessories and services at no extra charge: filters, keys, manuals (CD‑ROM/DVD), on‑site training (minimum four hours), pre‑delivery inspection, full dealer preparation, and full fuel/DEF fill.
• Warranty: 24‑month bumper‑to‑bumper, 5‑year/2 500‑hour power‑train, 2‑year hydraulic coverage; repairs within 5 working days.
• Delivery FOB destination within 180 working days; late‑delivery penalty $25 per unit per day.
• Vendor must be an authorized NM dealer, submit state business certificate, W‑9, health‑coverage proof (if applicable), and certify non‑collusion.
• Optional “add” or “deduct” accessories (air‑conditioner, towing package, extra lighting, etc.) to be priced in the bid spreadsheet.
