Description
The State of North Carolina, through South Piedmont Community College, is seeking one or more qualified catering vendors to provide full‑service banquet and event catering for the Ascend704 Event Center in Monroe, NC. The contract will be for an initial one‑year term (with up to two one‑year renewal options) and covers a range of event sizes—from six‑person working lunches to full‑day conferences serving up to 320 attendees. Vendors must submit menus, pricing, demonstrate financial stability, provide references, and be prepared for optional site visits and tastings. The award will be based on technical approach, organization, pricing, and past performance.
• Facility: 4,480 sq ft, capacity 320 (banquet) or 502 (theater)
• Service scope: menu development, food preparation, delivery, setup, service, cleanup, backup contingency plan
• Contract term: 1 year, renewable up to 2 additional years
• Mandatory vendor qualifications: NC vendor registration, E‑Verify, insurance, background checks
