The Iowa School for the Deaf (ISD) seeks a qualified vendor to provide a broad range of plumbing supplies, parts, and related tools on an as‑needed basis to support its in‑house maintenance program for a residential campus. The contract will run from December 1 2026 through November 30 2027, with the possibility of up to five additional years of renewal. Bidders must submit firm percentage discounts off manufacturers’ MSRP for both individual items and entire product categories, and must be able to deliver standard orders within 24‑48 hours and expedited orders within the same day or next business morning. The vendor must maintain a pick‑up location within 20 miles of the ISD campus and offer a “will‑call” service with a two‑hour order‑ready window.
• Supplies include pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water‑supply lines, drainage components, sealants, backflow devices, hardware, and basic plumbing tools.
• No minimum purchase volume; orders placed as needed.
• Discounts must be firm for the contract term; price updates only during renewal.
• Delivery: standard (24‑48 h), expedited (same‑day or next‑morning), F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid.
• Vendor must provide a storefront or warehouse within 20 mi of the ISD campus for 2‑hour “will‑call” pickup.
• Returns accepted for unused stock items within 30 days (full credit); special‑order returns limited to 15 % restocking fee.
• No installation, labor, or on‑site services are required—only supply of materials and documentation.
