Event Rental Supplies and Labor Services

The City of Southfield is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to establish a rental program for various event rental supplies and equipment. The rental program should include tables, chairs, table coverings, tents, lighting, barricade fencing, and portable light poles. The selected company will be required to enter into a two-year contract with an option to extend for an additional one-year period. The company must provide equipment, delivery, and in-place installation and dismantling services at City-operated locations. • The company must have been in business for at least 5 years under the same company name. • The company must have contracts to provide as-needed services like those described in this document with at least 3 organizations. • The company must have sufficient capacity to meet the City's needs. • The company must provide an on-site representative to coordinate delivery, equipment installation, and dismantling activities. • The company must be available for rental activity on weekends and some holidays. The evaluation of proposals will be based on the condition and appearance of the equipment, information listed under the submittal requirements section, and price.
